20 Random Facts

Saw this while I was blog surfing during Jaron's naptime (how is it that he still naps for two hours a day...kindergarten is going to kill him)...20 random facts about my favorite guy, Jaron:


1. Jaron is the first great-grandchild on my side of the family.

2. His first name is Hebrew and means "he will sing."


3. His middle name, Christopher, is Greek and means "bearer of Christ."


4. Jaron has a freckle on the same pinky finger that I do.


5. Jaron was born exactly one week after his due date.


6. Jaron hates the swimming pool (can't say that I blame him) but loves taking a bath. Most nights he is in there at least an hour.


7. Jaron puts ketchup and mustard on his macaroni and cheese.


8. I can get him to eat almost anything if I put ketchup on it.


9. His favorite cartoon is Bakugan.


10. Jaron can count to ten in three different languages, English, Spanish, and Japanese.


11. Jaron is not a big fan of cake. He loves ice cream but not the biggest fan of cake.


12. Jaron is a very cautious child...sometimes people mistake him for being shy...not shy, just cautious.


13. My baby starts kindergarten in the fall.


14. Jaron cannot get the concept of wearing flip flops. I gave up on trying.


15. Jaron needs his privacy in the bathroom. This is just a recent thing. In a public bathroom, I go in the stall and get everything situated and then have to stand outside the door.


16. Jaron wants the Earth "to one day be clean." Can't say I blame the kid again.


17. Jaron is a still a snuggle bunny. Please don't let that go away anytime soon.


18. Jaron LOVES his Grammy more then words can ever describe.


19. Jaron is not that fond of animals.


20. Jaron has naturally tight curly hair. It hurt so much combing it out when he was younger that he has to keep his hair short. Here is proof:

Product Review-Hair Stylin' and Profilin'

Well, well, well...here I am again. I was browsing through blogs earlier today and my best internet buddy (we have met in person though...so it is more then just internet), April, has a sister in law, Jackie, who has an awesome blog. Be sure to check both of them out...how either of them have time to breathe is beyond me...two kids, a husband, active social life...they make me tired just typing about them. Anyway, Jackie has been doing product reviews and I thought that I would copy her.
My Aunt asked me the other day how I get the bump in the back of my hair. I will admit that I tease my hair a little bit (please don't tell my hair dresser) but I also use a wonderful product by Redken called Guts. I spray it on the roots of about four sections of my hair while it is still wet then blow dry, straighten, tease (again, I admitted that) and hairspray.

So...what is your favorite styling secret? Use anything similar to this or even this product? I am addicted to hair products...so leave me a comment on your favorites and you can bet I am sucker enough to try them all!!

Hello Blog World! Nothing like a brand new episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 to get me to come out of the wood works. I have actually been here...reading, just not posting...which isn't the greatest of me.
So, last night...the premier that everyone was waiting for (and seriously, with 9.8 million viewers, people were watching even if they said they were not). I am probably the only one who will admit to this, but I feel bad for the situation, I really do. Don't get me wrong, I think Kate has spent the last 4 seasons setting herself up for where she is now in regards to her status with Jon, but you can tell that she is hurt. A relationship ending, for any reason, is not a fun thing and I do feel bad for the both of them in that sense. Enough of me being nice though. At work today I was running new show title ideas past the people I work with...how about Jon and Kate Separate or Jon and Kate Date? Yeah, I can be nice for just about half a second and then evil really does take over.

Monday Blues

Yuck. I am not really fond of Mondays...at all. And I am not particularly fond of a five day work week either. That is one, of many things that I enjoy about working in the banking industry (although we don't bank here...we credit union...HUGE difference). I am counting the days down until our next long weekend. Hello President's Day...I love February 16th.
I can't find my iPod and I am sure that someone broke into our house and stole just that. I have looked everywhere and it is not there. It will probably show up in the strangest of places or right in front of my face...but that will only be because the person who broke in and stole it brought it back.
What do you all think of people who move in the middle of the night? Our neighbors were moving this weekend on Saturday night and I find that odd. Maybe it is me and my criminal mind, but I am sure something is going on in that house and I will peek in the windows if I have to...maybe they have my iPod!!

I love when blogs have giveaways...even though I have no luck in the winning department (except with April's...wahoo), I still think it is a great way to meet new blog buddies.
